It is hard to believe that we have been closed for almost three months. I heard some interesting things were beginning to happen--like big piles of dirt appearing outside the Moultrie Street Door. So I stopped by with my camera to see for myself--and what do you know? There are big piles of dirt outside the door. Wonder what it's for.

Is there a plan for restoring the landscaped areas around the library after the renovation? I'd love to help.
I'm an avid gardener of many years and a volunteer at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. I also have a blog about my Bernal Heights garden (http://back40feet.blogspot.com). As such, I've thought for a long time that the landscaping around the Bernal branch library could be...better. I'd love to help (e.g., donate my time, etc).
